Making these homemade-whole food and gut healthy versions of processed foods a little on the sweeter side at first tends to make for an easier transition. Once your taste buds are adjusted you can begin cutting back on the sweetener. This recipe calls for 1/3 cup of honey. You could use half of that amount and still get a great result.
